This 2017 BMW 2 Series M240i xDrive is a compact performance coupe with all-wheel-drive capability and a straightforward equipment list. It combines BMW's two-door body style with the M240i trim and xDrive system, giving it a specification that focuses on driving hardware and everyday usability rather than excess content. The car is presented in a way that makes its factory features easy to identify, and the details provided are limited to the items listed here.
Inside, this vehicle includes Leather Seats and Automatic Climate Control. The cabin uses upholstery material that is easy to note in a simple equipment description, and the climate system is specified without additional claim or interpretation. The interior presentation is centered on standard comfort items that are commonly used on a daily basis, with no need to add equipment that has not been identified. The absence of extra detail leaves the listed features as the main points of reference for the cockpit and passenger area.
This BMW also has Xenon Headlights, Rain Sensing Wipers, Bluetooth, and Push Start. Each of these items is a plainly stated part of the equipment list, and they cover lighting, weather-related operation, in-car connectivity, and ignition function. The headlamp type is noted as provided, the wipers respond to changing conditions, the Bluetooth system supports wireless communication, and the start function is operated by button rather than a traditional key turn. Nothing beyond these specified items is being inferred here.
This 2017 BMW 2 Series M240i xDrive presents as a well-defined used performance car with a focused set of options. The listed features give a clear picture of what is installed without adding assumptions about packages, trim content beyond what is named, or any equipment that has not been confirmed. The model designation, drivetrain, and selected amenities are all stated directly, allowing the vehicle's documented specifications to remain the basis for the description.

They didn't make a lot of convertibles from 2014-2020 in the 2 series line. The KBB estimate in my opinion is low. A 2015 BMW 2 Convertible in great shape will bring more the $12,000 on a Private Party sale. I would say closer to $14,000. Also, since the car was always in Arizona and my particular car never goes out in bad weather, never. Maybe a BMW from the mid-west or East would fitch at top price of $12,000.… - 5.0

BMWs are for not for everyone, and I understand the logic probably behind Kelly blue books pricing. But if you look at the listing of BMWs on other sources. I find that they are somewhat higher than what Kelly Blue book sees the value at. My particular car only has 56,000 miles on it and it's 11 years old. It is in great condition and I don't have any issues with it. I would not take less than probably then $12,500 for my car if I would offer it for sale. It has classic lines that many like in BMWs. I think KBB needs to adjust their pricing of this model with low mileage.… - 5.0

Usually don’t write reviews but I still loveeeee my BMW so here is my real life experience… This car is amazing with excellent performance and handling. ONLY big COMPLAINT / ADVICE IS: DO NOT GET THE RUN FLAT TIRES - I live in NJ and has gone through 9 stock Pirelli P7 tires and 2 rims during my first 2 yrs of ownership. This was due to the tire sidewall that rips open (not repairable must replace) when I hit a pot hole and/or the rim would crack. I drove around constantly trying to avoid the smallest of potholes which was causing a negative driving experience, some anxiety and annoyance. After much frustration & research 2 years passed - I finally switched to non-run flat tires and I have AAA as a backup (no spear tires in these cars) which resolved this issue and haven’t had ANY blowouts for the last 6years. As the single owner as of date of this posting I’ve owned my 2016 BMW 228xi convertible M-Sport package for 8yrs and 4 months which currently has 113,500 miles. My initial plan when I built and had this car shipped from Germany, in summer 2015, was to get a new BMW after 7 years but this car still runs, handles and performs so well I decided to keep it even longer. IM thinking at this point until I have compounding problems but so far it’s been highly maintained and in excellent condition so I’m keeping. As a 6ft2in 220lb man, I’ve fit very comfortably in the cockpit but it’s a squeeze if adult friends were to sit directly behind me. A smaller person under 5ft6 will be ok. I frequently drive my car with 4 occupants. Definitely best $60k (out the door) I’ve spent on my fully loaded 2 series. Living where it gets cold the automatic climate control inside works excellent as low as 50degrees with the top down, rear wind deflector & windows up it can be very stable up in the cockpit and easy to maintain 73 degrees. At the same time it would be nice if I had remote starter but I was told not possible for an aftermarket install (Car does have remote climate control though the BMW app but this does not start the engine to actually warm up the car)- due to the 40+ computers in bmws. Also I recommend not to have the top down below 50degrees as it can potentially be problematic. Finally, it would be nice if cup holders were bigger sized to hold 40oz thermos/bottles and not just regular sized water/soda bottles. But these minor wishes does not diminish my enjoyment and total love and appreciation for such a fun to drive car. Also as a supersport bike rider (& the freedom most bikers experience) I can confidently state this is as close to similar fun to experience this drive with the top down riding on the open highway or winding back roads in my convertible! The cornering is as good as it gets in this car! The biggest expense I had was to replace the navigation screen which became partly distorted around the perimeter of the display, this happened even with normal use and excellent up-keep (looked like a bunch of little internal bubbles from the heat/weather) and changes in temperature (best guess) inside the convertible. The dealership stated in plain language that the plastic on the screen was separating and I was outside the warranty period so they could not cover the cost to replace even tho this was no fault of my own. BMW did help to fully cover the cost of labor & install but I had to spend $2500 to purchase an OEM replacement navigation /screen after 6yrs of use. Still - Def Best vehicle I’ve owned in my adult of life!…
