    Dealer Notes

This 2019 GMC Yukon Denali presents as a full-size SUV with a familiar upright profile and substantial road presence, shaped by a body-on-frame design that is aimed at everyday use as well as longer-distance travel. Its proportions leave room for a three-row cabin, and the Denali trim brings a more refined appearance than the standard model without changing the basic character of the vehicle. The exterior treatment is measured rather than elaborate, with trim details that fit the vehicle's size and purpose. This Yukon is built around a large interior volume, and the packaging reflects that focus from front to back.

This 2019 GMC Yukon Denali includes Leather Seats, and the cabin uses those surfaces throughout the main seating areas. The material treatment gives the interior a more finished feel, while the seating positions remain consistent with a large SUV intended to carry multiple occupants. This Yukon also includes a Third Row Seat, which adds the extra seating capacity expected in a vehicle of this class. The interior layout is arranged to provide usable space across all three rows, and the Denali trim keeps the presentation restrained and functional. Controls and trim pieces are positioned in a manner that suits a vehicle designed for regular family use, commuting, and extended travel.

This 2019 GMC Yukon Denali includes Lane Keep Assist, which is one of the driver assistance features integrated into the vehicle. It also includes a Head Up Display, placing selected information within the driver's forward line of sight. The equipment list further includes a Wi-Fi Hotspot, allowing connectivity capability on the move, and Premium Audio, which adds a higher-grade sound system to the cabin. These items are part of the vehicle's factory equipment rather than add-ons described in broad terms, and they contribute to the Denali trim's more complete specification. The presence of these features gives the driver and passengers a set of convenience and information functions that are straightforward and easy to identify.

This 2019 GMC Yukon Denali is the type of vehicle where size and equipment matter in equal measure. Its cabin is arranged for carrying people with a level of comfort that matches its class, and the available technology supports that role without changing the SUV's basic purpose. The seating, connectivity, audio, and assistance features are all presented in a way that is consistent with the rest of the vehicle's straightforward execution. This Yukon remains focused on practical use, with a cabin that is sized for passengers and a feature set that is easy to describe in simple terms.

    • Great overall family hauler!

Hello. A 23 year seasoned automotive repair professional here. Overall, this platform is very posh yet has that ‘truck toughness’, if and when you need it. Tows well and the rear locker certainly does its job, and is good at it. As well as the factory built in trailer brake. The MPG isn’t the greatest at 22 HWY/17 CITY (personal average) but you don’t buy this sort of vehicle for the fuel economy. It’s luxury, brawn, fit/finish and material durability don’t necessarily need ‘THE BEST LARGE SUV FUEL ECONOMY’ title. Leave that to the throw away over seas manufactures and other domestics that have made me a great living. 😉 Performance is above average. Very crisp and surprisingly quick acceleration for a vehicle of its size. (Coming from a previous owner of a 9 sec. 1/4 mile C6 Z06) The transmission is smooth with power delivery and with shifting. Like anything and any other vehicle, fluid maintenance is your friend here. Make sure the differentials, transfer case, engine coolant, brake fluid, trans filter and trans fluid drain and fills are done accordingly, like and when GM advises and you will see many miles, with no anxiety. Regular alignment checks are advised to keep those big 22” tires from shaving away at your wallet. I would recommend a fuel management disabler or a complete mechanical removal of it and switching out of the 0w20 oil, for longevity. 0w20 is not ideal for a big 6.2 V8 with the stresses it’s designed to take on. That’s where the ‘bad rep’ comes from. GM, like every auto manufacturer is required to have a mandatory average ‘MPG’ across the board, amongst all models. Thinner oil is part of what achieved that average with this truck for reasons unknown. I use Mobil 0w40 Supercar, ya know, the C8 ZR1/Z06 oil from the factory that flows and protects during a solid 12 hour race, at places like Sebring raceway? No real complaints from a Large 4WD Luxury SUV. (I’m referencing the 6.2 L86 V8, as that’s what I have)…

With the 6.3 engine it has more power than I will ever need great modern leather! It has 120,0000 mile runs like a top we change the oil regularly and it rides as good as our Cadillac did! It probably needs shocks about now but this has been a great truck!…
