This 2022 Subaru BRZ Limited is a two-door sports coupe with a driver-focused interior and a compact footprint. Its body shape follows the familiar BRZ form, with a low stance, short overhangs, and a profile that emphasizes proportion and restraint rather than ornament. The Limited trim adds an equipment level that is more complete than the base model, while keeping the car centered on straightforward controls and a simple cabin arrangement. The seating position is low, the dash is organized around the driver, and the interior design favors clear sight lines to the primary instruments and forward road view. Materials and switchgear are presented in a manner consistent with a modern compact performance car, with attention given to the touch points most often used during daily driving.
This example includes factory navigation, integrated into the center display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also present, giving the infotainment system compatibility with common smartphone interfaces. The screen serves as the main hub for audio and connectivity functions, with the vehicle's built-in menus arranged in a conventional format. The controls are laid out in a way that does not require much learning, and the system keeps the number of separate interfaces to a minimum. The technology package is practical rather than elaborate, and the available functions are those most commonly used for route guidance, media access, and phone integration. The cabin's electronic features are concentrated in a single area, which helps keep the rest of the interior uncluttered.
Driver-assistance and visibility equipment includes Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning and a Backup Camera. These items are integrated into the car's electronic and display systems without changing the basic character of the vehicle. The rearview image appears when backing up, and the warning systems provide additional information in common driving situations. The BRZ's compact size and low seating position make the camera particularly useful when maneuvering in tighter spaces, while the lane and rear-crossing features add a layer of awareness without adding complexity to the controls. The placement of these functions follows the same straightforward approach seen throughout the cabin, with alerts and visuals delivered through familiar menus and indicator logic.
This BRZ Limited is aimed at drivers who want a small sports coupe with a manual-feeling, involved driving environment and a reasonable set of convenience features. The two-door body leaves the rear seating area secondary to the front compartment, and the cabin materials and trim levels reflect that priority. Storage areas are modest, and the interior space is arranged for two primary occupants with occasional use of the rear seats. The driving position, compact dimensions and simple interior architecture make the car easy to place on the road and in parking spaces. This 2022 Subaru BRZ Limited includes the items listed above and presents them in a form that is easy to understand, with the equipment and controls laid out in a direct, familiar manner.

Rating is skewed by a dishonest player - Great Car
By more butter | on 5/23/2025 1:16:12 AM
Subaru BRZ: A True Driver's Car The Subaru BRZ stands out as a truly awesome vehicle, despite what some online reviews at KBB might suggest. It appears there's an attempt by certain individual to unfairly skew its rating, perhaps due to its traditional internal combustion engine or the availability of new model years. It's important to clarify that the 2025 model is indeed available, and the BRZ is fundamentally designed as a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive, ICE sports car – a deliberate evocation of classic performance. Key to its appeal are the distinctive flat boxer engine, engaging manual transmission, and easily disengageable traction control. Unmatched Driving Experience at this Price Point The BRZ is a masterpiece of affordable, visceral, and satisfying performance. It captures the essence of iconic 80s sports cars like the Nissan 280Z, Toyota Celica GT, and Mazda RX-7 (without the rotary complications). When compared to contemporary rivals such as the Miata RF, Nissan 350Z, older Porsche Boxsters, Toyota GR Corolla, and VW GTI, the BRZ consistently ranks at or near the top, depending on individual priorities. Addressing Past Perceptions Earlier models of the BRZ faced criticisms of being slightly underpowered, a concern comprehensively addressed with the 2020 engine update. While some track enthusiasts noted rare oil starvation issues in specific extreme conditions, those buying the car for dedicated track use are typically well-aware of these highly specialized (and solvable) problems. This contrasts with the more pervasive and costly bearing issues often associated with older Porsche Boxsters. Practicality Meets Performance Ultimately, the BRZ delivers pure driving enjoyment and striking aesthetics in a remarkably reliable and accessible package. While it may not be the fastest car on the road, its handling is arguably the best in its price segment. Potential considerations include the very low seating position and narrowly bolstered seats, which might not suit everyone. The interior noise level is noticeable, and the cup holders are somewhat inconveniently located behind the elbow. However, for those debating between a Miata RF and the BRZ, the BRZ offers superior daily drivability, providing more usable storage, better cup holders, increased power, a tighter suspension, and more effective brakes. peace! you won't be disappointed… - 5.0
Absolutely perfect
By Trevor | on 2/21/2024 1:57:58 AM
It's hard to come up with any negatives towards this vehicle. The most glaring one would be that it could use just a little more horsepower, but that can be pretty easily fixed. This car is an incredible entry-level sports car and is incredibly fun to drive. Having taken it on multiple long road trips, I can say that it is comfortable and fun as hell.…
